How to plan an author visit

What we provide
We plan all author/poet visits working closely with each school to meet their individual needs – this may involve working with just one year group or working across different key stages.

We are able to discuss options and send over information on a variety of acts that suit your school/library/event needs – taking into consideration your budget, location, age and size of the audience and any themes or genres. We can provide book letters to go out to parents informing them of the visit and the books available, where relevant.

After you have booked a visit through us we put schools in direct contact with the visiting author to plan the finer details of the event.

For some authors we are also able to arrange for the supply, delivery and return of books.

Age groups
We work with infants up to KS5 and can provide speakers for adult events for teacher training, conferences and festivals.
