Liz Gibbs is a highly experienced independent international teaching and learning consultant of mathematics. Liz spends up to 25% of her time overseas delivering workshops to many UK International Schools.
About Liz
Liz’s teaching career has been varied and spans every age group from developing a nursery in the mid 1990s to teaching up to Year 8 in local middle schools in 2013.
Liz became a published author in 2014 and one of three UK editors of Inspire Maths (Singapore Maths) in 2015. Liz has also written many school improvement documents for Numicon and Inspire, these can be found on the Oxford Owl website.
Liz’s most recent work is writing lessons for BBC Bitesize (online) and script writing for BBC Teacher Talks.
Liz’s AIM High Maths Days
Liz's AIM High Maths Days are fun as well as very educational.
During the workshop, Liz encourages pupils to work together as investigators to solve interesting and meaningful problems which all can access whilst being mathematically stretched and challenged in an enjoyable way.
