Remembrance themed author visits

To help your students learn more about the World Wars and appreciate what remembrance is about whilst improving their literacy and their commitment to reading for pleasure, Authors Abroad can arrange for a themed author visit.

We have authors whose books are set during war, those who have written fiction and non-fiction and authors suitable for both primary school and secondary school, including – Poetricks, a duo made up form Terry Caffrey and Andy Winters who can  perform ‘Our Tommy’s War: stories of WW1 told though storytelling, poetry, magic and song’ for primary students.
