Bullying is sadly still too common an occurrence in schools. Anti-bullying week is working to combat the prevalence and impact of bullying with resources available for teachers to download and competitions frequently run.
An author visit can help with instilling confidence in students, bringing together a sense of community for students and some of our authors have workshops specifically on this theme;
Mark Robson uses his ‘Warrior Kids’ books to run anti-bullying workshops in primary school.
Kathryn Evans can deliver talks on resilience and never giving up to secondary school students.
Rapper Donavan gives workshops on respect, ‘RAP = Respect All People’.
Both Roger Stevens and Matt Goodfellow featured in the anthology of poems ‘The Same Inside’ a sweet and thoughtful collection of poems about friendship, empathy and respect.
If you would like to arrange for any of the above to visit, or for any other author or poet please phone Trevor Wilson on +44 (0) 1535 656015, or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org
