School Author Visits - Booking Requirements

The only equipment needed for any of the performances is a table and chair.
For workshop sessions a board (whiteboard, blackboard or flip-chart) and appropriate tools for writing/erasing are all that is required.
Whether or not pupils will require paper and pens will usually depend on setting, duration of session, pupil numbers, their ages and aptitudes, etc.
For larger audiences or for spaces with poor acoustics a body-microphone would be useful, but is not essential.
If there’s a final read-around for which a large number other pupils / staff / parents are present, a standard hand-held microphone might be useful.
