About Jason Bradbury
Jason is Britain’s best known face of technology. When he’s not writing his children’s books, he's hosting The Gadget Show on Five TV. Jason’s gadget antics are legendary; he’s built his own hoverboard, ridden rocket-powered bicycles and piloted personal submarines – and all in the name of getting the message out about the fun of technology and popular science. With a string of children’s science shows behind him, including the award winning Gross! On Discovery Kids and several years as a gadget and gaming journalist – Jason knows how to engage young people with science, maths and literary content.
And with the first book in the Dot Robot trilogy, he is taking to the road to spread the word to as many schools as possible.

The Dot Robot Roadshow
Together with Puffin, Jason has devised a unique schools event -The Dot Robot Roadshow. Using his own pictures gathered on his travels to working laboratories and research facilities in South Korea, Japan and America, Jason offers a fascinating and fun insight into cutting edge tech, science and robotics – from in-eye TVs to actual invisibility cloaks, self-driving cars to the real world of professional video gaming.
The roadshow also features a cast of actual robots, including a scale model of Punk from Jason’s book. Jason invites a couple of children to take part in a robot driving challenge for which a prize is up for grabs. Finishing off with a reading from the book and a lively Question and Answer session, The Dot Robot Roadshow promises to be a thoroughly engaging and enjoyable school event.
