About GP Taylor
A motorcyclist and former rock band roadie turned Anglican minister, G.P. Taylor has been hailed as “hotter than Potter” and “the new C.S. Lewis.” His first novel Shadowmancer, reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list in 2004 and has been translated into forty-eight languages. His other novels include Wormwood (another New York Times bestseller, which was nominated for a Quill book award), The Shadowmancer Returns: The Curse Of Salamander Street, Tersias The Oracle, and Mariah Mundi: The Midas Box. Worldwide sales for Taylor’s books now total more than 3 million copies.
G.P. Taylor is a passionate advocate of reading and visits around 250 schools each year talking to some 20,000 children, aiming to get them interested in books.

GP’s School Visits
GP Taylor has been visiting school and conferences for the last 5 years and has spoken around the world to groups from a handful to several thousand.
The aim of his sessions is to motivate children and young people to read and write - something which he is very good at doing and many schools report back a significant increase in children reading in the library and getting into books.
His workshops can be catered for your needs, size of audience and location. Taking the form of an interactive workshop they include GP telling several stories to intrigue and excite (GP is a skilled actor and presenter). Within that framework he explores story plot, character, description and planning as well as getting the children laughing, interacting and enjoying themselves.
Should you want something special then please let him know what you require. He also presents a one man story telling show entitled Myth - Magic and Mayhem.
This is not an author just turning up and reading from his book...
